Sport in Nepal is growing rapidly, and we at Kathmandu Kickers are proud to be part of that progress. Over the past few years, our main goal has been to help players become better footballers, but we also give them a taste of European football culture so they can see how the game is played in a more organized way.

One of the biggest influences in this journey has been our Scottish coach, Leigh Manson, an experienced and award-winning trainer from the European Union. His presence has completely changed how our players approach training and competition. Leigh’s methods are modern, disciplined, and focused on developing both technical ability and tactical understanding. He teaches our young players how to think, move, and play like professionals.

Every year, we take our players to Germany to participate in international youth tournaments. Competing against European clubs gives them valuable experience and confidence. These tournaments are not just about winning but about learning how football is played at a global level. Our players return home with greater motivation, sharper skills, and a stronger mindset.

The exposure they gain from these trips is priceless. Playing abroad helps them understand the importance of teamwork, discipline, and quick decision-making. It also shows them that with hard work and dedication, Nepali players can compete with anyone.

Through our training programs and international partnerships, we are creating an environment where young players can grow with the same standards found in Europe. Our goal is to build confident footballers who can represent Nepal proudly at every level.
